NSS Motto

"The Motto of NSS "Not Me But You” reflects the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for selfless service. NSS helps the students to develop an appreciation for other person's points of view and also show consideration for other living beings. The philosophy of the NSS is to give importance of the welfare of human beings & an ecosystem. "

Aim

"To give a new dimension to the higher education system and orient the student youth to community service while they are studying in educational institution."

Objectives of NSS

To enable the students to understand the community in which they work;
To understand themselves in relation to their community;
To identify the needs and problems in the community and provide the solutions of which they can be involved;
To develop among themselves a sense of social and civic responsibility
To apply their education in finding practical solution to individual and community problems.
To gain skills in mobilizing community participation;
To acquire leadership qualities and democratic attitude;

Events

It would be of some importance to mention the details of the ideal programs undertaken in regular activities & special camps through the contribution of the NSS unit of the college:

In College, the "One Tree for You" scheme was implemented & develop “Green campus" during drought full condition
In Daregaon & Panewadi, C.C.T. Pits and soil canal construction for water conservation
Arranged programs on plastic Awareness, “say no plastic, save the environment” movement rallies, Street play & distributed cloth bags in Manmad & surrounding neighborhoods villages.
Conducted Road safety activities & workshops for students, aware of driving rules, and safe driving.
