Introduction

The college has 3 buildings; the Main building, the exam department, hostel. The institution has 2 multi-purpose halls with ICT facilities with a seating capacity of 100 to 120. A college campus is equipped with CCTV surveillance. There are separate records and storerooms. The college has a campus area of 36,584 sq. meters. The college has 13 classrooms & 06 laboratories. The library has a reading room. The college has 4 KYAN projectors to facilitate ICT integrated teaching-learning process. College provides LAN facility for office (100 Mbps) and IQAC (10 Mbps). The total area of the college has a Wi-Fi facility. The college provides free Wi-Fi for all staff members and students. The college has 54 computers, 15 printers & internet facilities. The Department of Chemistry, Geography, Physics, Mathematics, Botany & Zoology are well equipped with all the required facilities for UG. Department of Chemistry has a Chemical Store room. The zoology department maintains a well-stocked collection of specimens from all the Phyla, stuffed animals, models of DNA, heart, human evolution, and human skeleton. The department also has a urine analyser, blood analyser, automatic staining microtome machine, and an aquarium fish culture. The institution maintains a herbarium and a botanical garden, a medicinal plant garden under the guidance of the Department of Botany.

The institution has a good infrastructure to cultivate and promote the student’s interest in sports and games aimed at the overall development of the students. The college has 98 x 61 sq. meters of ground for a sports facility. The institution has a standard 200-meter running track for athletic activity. Students play Football, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Net Ball, Baseball, Softball, and Cricket with this facility. There is a standard basketball court. The college has a well-equipped gymnasium of 1600 sq. ft. The sports department coordinates its activities. The college has a separate area of 1200 sq. ft. for indoor activities like Yoga, Table Tennis, Chess, Carom, etc. including a department room and store room for keeping all equipment properly. Cultural activities such as College Days celebrations, gathering, etc. are held on the campus, providing opportunities for the students to exhibit their cultural talents. The college has a cultural hall for cultural activities. It has a harmonium, tabla, Speakers, and mike for students to have rehearsal. Students are also sent to other colleges to take part in intercollegiate competitions such as dances, songs, skits, debates, etc. The cultural Activity committee of the college encourages and trains the students to participate in such competitions taking place outside the campus.

College Campus includes a navigation system, RO Plant for Drinking Water, Water Purification and Water Cooling System, a 10 kW Solar System, Green Gym, Botanical Garden, Parking for students with a shed, well equipped Laboratories for B. Voc. Electronics, and B. Voc. IT, Cultural hall, Women Cell (Ladies room), ICT- Projector Facilities, rose garden, medicinal plant garden, drip system for plants, etc.
