Rules And Regulations

Students will follow all the norms of discipline of the college. Rules regarding routine work, behavior on the campus, classrooms and library, at various functions and during examinations should be properly observed by all the students.

?The regulations jointly made by the S.P.P. University of Pune Educational Council, State Government and College Management should be strictly followed by all students.

  • Students must carry their Identity Cards in the college campus.
  • Vehicles must be parked at the parking place only.
  • Students must not bunk lectures/practical.
  • Smoking, drinking liquor, chewing gutkha, tobacco, pan masala and pan and spitting is strictly prohibited in the college campus.
  • Weapons that may cause physical injury are prohibited in the campus.
  • Writing anything on the walls of classroom or toilet, throwing pieces of paper, materials and scraps anywhere in the campus is prohibited.
  • Shouting, causing nuisance, banging on staircase, speaking in the reading hall, loitering in the college porch is prohibited.
  • Visitors are not allowed in the campus unless special permission is granted.
  • Students will have to follow all the rules made by laboratories and library.
  • Neither student will participate in any anti-social or anti-college campaign nor will he/she take part in any religious movement.
  • Strict action will be taken if any alterations in documents are made.
  • The examination forms will be detained if students have less than 75% attendance.
  • Use of mobile phone is strictly prohibited in the college campus as per Govt. Resolution.

Following measures may be taken in case of non-observance of rules and regulations

As per section 127 sub section 6 of Maharashtra Public Uni Act 2016

  • Cancellation of admission
  • Cancellation of examination forms.
  • Detention of examination forms.
  • Rustication from examination/college.
  • Withholding examination results
  • Suspension from college.
  • Penalization for in disciplinary act in the college campus.
  • Confiscation of deposit.
Prevention against Ragging : -

Ragging is strictly prohibited by Law in and outside the college campus. UGC circular no. F 1-16/2007 (CCP II) dated 17 June 2009

For students and parents, filling an online Anti Ragging Undertaking {as per UGC guideline) on https://antiragging.in is mandatory. The duly signed print outs of the both be submitted at the time of admission, each year.

College identifies following actions as Ragging

  • Any disorderly conduct, action or unlawful gathering.
  • Use fo words spoken written causing violation of decency and morals.
  • Actions or words with the effect of teasing, treating or rude handling.
  • Use of words or actions causing hardship, psychological harm or create fear in the freshers.
  • Rowdy or undisciplined activities causing annoyance.
  • Actions like assault, injury to body or any sexual offence.
  • Any compulsion to perform acts that generate sense of shame or embarrassment.
  • Wrongful restrain or confinement.
  • Use of criminal force or criminal trespass.
  • Offence against property.

Following actions can be taken as punishment for Ragging.

  • Cancellation of admission.
  • Suspension from attending classes.
  • Withholding I withdrawing scholarship of other benefits.
  • Debarring from examination.
  • Withholding results
  • Expulsion from the institute.
